Learn to make breathtakingly beautiful Cityscapes in New York city. They are the backbone of many documentaries and, serve as the opening shot to many narratives films, cityscapes often create that all-important first impression you make with your audience. This class will explore, demonstrate and give you a chance to use the tools and techniques best suited to capture a variety of landscapes/cityscapes.

We will cover:
- Controlling natural light by understanding how the sun's position in the sky and time of day affects your shots.
- Shooting during the magic hours: Sunrise, sunset, predawn
- Using lens filtration: Polarizers, enhancing filters, ND grads, color grads.
- Time-lapse cinematography, film based exposure techniques, widescreen aspect ratios and wide-angle optics.

Classes start at 6pm and slowly migrate towards Hudson River ending with a magical sunset over New Jersey.
